We love all animals and have tried to make the garden around our beautiful cottage a haven for the native wildlife and now enjoy a visit from a family of wallabies on most days, as well as many birds.
We have now made the cottage available to guests with DOGS under 10Kg ONLY. Sorry, no larger dogs or cats for the reasons stipulated below.
A $65 pet fee is applicable (maximum of 2 dogs each under 10kg).
Airbnb hosts have to choose whether to be “Pet Friendly” or not. However, Airbnb does not specify what qualifies as a “pet.” For example, we know someone that has a pet pig and we would definitely not accept a pet pig in our cottage!!
WHY NO CATS:
We have some family members with cat allergies.
WHEN STAYING WITH YOUR DOG:
Our property is not fenced, but the verandah does have gates. We therefore require that you secure your pet on the verandah by keeping the gates closed. Should you wish to take them into the yard/garden, we require that they are kept on a lead. Do not leave your pet unattended at the cottage – please explore our beautiful local area with your fur baby.
When packing for your stay, don’t forget to pack your dog’s bed, food and water bowl so that they feel right at home.
We ask that you don’t allow your pets onto our beds or lounges in the cottage.
Please also pick up your dog’s poop from the garden and dispose of it in an appropriate place.
