Maleny needs no introduction. It is the heart of the Glasshouse Mountain and Sunshine Coast Hinterland region. There are excellent cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries in the town centre. Well-known townships of Montville and Mapleton are just a short drive away, as well as waterfalls, swimming holes, Baroon Pocket Dam, bushwalking tracks and stunning lookouts. Landsborough Station is about a twenty minute drive down the mountain, and buses service the area regularly. The speed limit is 40km/h in town as it is a bustling village.

There is something for everyone in and around Maleny. From bushwalking in Kondalilla Falls National Park to exploring the arts and crafts in Maleny or Montville, you can be as energetic or relaxed as you feel like! There are endless options to make your romantic getaway memorable!

It is well worth dropping in to the Maleny Visitor Information Centre which is located at 2/23 Maple Street (next to the Community Hall on the main street).
